A beautiful young woman is kidnapped by a powerful drug lord, Diego Vasquez. I loved this well-written story of a courageous young woman who did not give up on life or love. Juliann does a great job of character buildup in the first few chapters, and then it's an exciting adventure as the story unfolds. I could feel the action and excitement of Annaliese's life being turned upside down when she was abducted. But, I love that she did not give up hope of being rescued. I loved this page-turner so much that I gave it to my husband to read and he agrees it is a great story! Thanks Juliann! We are looking forward to your next book to be published...hopefully, we don't have to wait too long.

I was surprised! This book was full of twists and turns that were totally unexpected. I think this could easily be made into a movie.
